b. Any other examination recognized as equivalent to (a) by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

B.Sc. (MEDICAL WITH BIOTECHNOLOGY AS VOCATIONAL SUBJECT)
Eligibility: A candidate who has passed 10+2 examination with atleast 40% marks in aggregate from P.S.E.B. or any other equivalent examination recognized by G.N.D.U. Amritsar with Medical subjects. Eligibility: At least 50% marks in B.Sc. (Med.) with Zoology, Botany or any other Life Science Subject. Admission to M.Sc. Botany is based on interview and merit, as per the admission policy of the college. Regular student who has passed M.Sc. (Botany) Part I is eligible for admission to M.Sc. Part II.
Career Prospects: Botany is the branch of science which deals with the study of plants. It has wide scope in pure and applied sciences. At the post-graduate level, it opens up a whole vista of interesting career options. With an objective of providing vocational education to the students, BVOC (Banking and Financial Services) has been introduced since 2014-15. The students are exposed to the practicalities of real world situations confronting the area of Banking and Financial Services. The course is aimed at holistic development of the students and trains them particularly in the field of Banking and Financial Services.
- Imparting practical knowledge to the students through SIMULATION LABS.
- Practical training of eight weeks in banks and other financial institutions so as to provide hands on experience to the students.

It is one-year diploma course after graduation.
