Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, the premier institute of North India, has been bestowed with prestigious award for promoting the cause of women education. The said award is Flagship College and is given by Confederation of Educational Excellence (CEE) in association with ECONS to the institution for the excellence in the field of academics, sports, extra curricular activities, state-of-art infrastructure and research. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told that the award was bestowed by Dr. Udit Raj, Member Parliament Loksabha. He graced the occasion as Chief Guest of the award ceremony. 132 applications from all over the country were received by the organization for the said award. HMV is the only college from North India and one amongst five institutions of higher education in India to get this coveted award.
She further added that Confederation of Education Excellence has also conferred on award to the Principal of the institution entitled Excellence in the Field of Education. CEE has also awarded Dean Academics of the college Dr. Meenakshi Sayal. The award ceremony was held at New Delhi. On this occasion, a conclave on Excellence in Education with the theme Education 2025. Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the faculty and staff members and said that all this is possible because of guidance of DAV mentors and continuous efforts of faculty members.
