DAV has been making a significant contribution to the society through spreading value-based education keeping the ancient Vedic heritage in mind. In fact, it is the only organization which has set high standards in education while maintaining a balance between Vedic wisdom and modernity. The organization runs and manages over 780 educational institutions comprising of public schools, grants-in-aid schools, colleges, institutes of professional education and research institutions all over India and abroad. Recently, the organization has taken one step forward by initiating the project of DAV University at Jalandhar, Punjab.
Presently, DAV has taken some crucial steps in its pursuit of excellence. Some of these are: Modernization of infrastructure in schools and colleges, Introducing technology in teaching-learning process, creating a network of people all over the globe through Alumni Foundation, Strengthening Vedic virtues, etc.
While DAV feels proud of its achievements, it is yet not contented. Its vision is to be crowned as the finest educational organization in the world. Its mission is man-making, dispelling ignorance, imparting knowledge and building Vedic values. Our success in this endeavor has the potential of making our society free from prejudices and vices.
We, the members of DAV fraternity, believe that the best way to bring a change is to initiate it. With this belief, we have continually engaged over more than 128 years in a relentless endeavor to grow and develop into a pioneer organization in the field of education.

DAV College Managing Committee is the largest non-government organization in the field of education in India today. It has a glorious past steeped in the history of India, our great nation. DAV College Managing Committee has contributed to nation-building by pioneering private initiative in education. In our more than 127 years long career span, DAV students have emerged as leaders in their chosen fields as Nobel laureates, Prime Ministers, scientists, sports persons, defense personnel, movie actors, media persons , CEO's, making meaningful contributions to the economic and social development of India.
DAVCMC runs and manages over 780 educational institutions comprising public schools, grants-in-aid schools, colleges, institutes of professional education and research institutions. Trusted by both, Public as well as private sector, DAVCMC manages over hundred Project and Semi-project Schools for blue-chip corporate houses such as ACC, Tata, Reliance, Adani and Public Sector Corporations such as BHEL, GAIL, SECL etc. DAVCMC discharges its social responsibility by running ashrams and orphanages for the underprivileged and destitute children and women.
The DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC) is managed by a galaxy of luminaries from diverse fields who are committed to the philosophy of Arya Samaj and ideals of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. The DAV institutions are spread all over the length and breadth of India with DAV presence in almost all states catering to a wide range of clients from the urban elite to the rural Indian. DAV's commitment to quality education ensures highly qualified and skilled work force and state-of-art infrastructure in the educational institutions managed by it.
