               CONCLUSIONS
Plants and plant products were used by human being from ancient times. They are having

high medicinal values due to the presence of bioactive compounds secondary metabolites.
These secondary metabolites possess many medicinal properties in Alternanthera sessilis.

The phytochemical analysis of Alternanthera sessilis showed maximum number of

compounds were present in benzene and diethyl ether extracts. The result of this research
have revealed that many active bioconstituents of potential qualities in its curative action.

Hence the present work also supports the traditional use of medicinal plants extracts possess
