The National Cadet Corps

National Cadet Corps is another forum available to the students. College NCC has two wings Army and Air Wing, under which there is one Army Platoon and one Air Force Platoon. The students attend various camps organized at the central level by NCC Directorates and Group HQ and participate in events like Mountaineering, Trekking, Firing, Rock Climbing, Para Sailing, Microlite Flying, Aero- Modeling etc. NCC cadets also get opportunities to participate in Republic Day Parade, Prime Minister Rally New Delhi, Youth Exchange Programmes at International Level. There are ample opportunities to make career in Military and Para Military as there is direct entry for 'C' certificate holders. The students who opt for NCC get weightage while recruitment to various Central Government jobs. They also have an added advantage for State Police, BSF and other forces.

AIM

1. To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.
2. To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation.
3. To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces.

Cadet Lakshita attended ‘Annual NCC Republic Day Camp’ held at New Delhi from Dec 29 , 2023 to Jan 28, 2024.
Cadet Samiksha attended ‘All India Girls Trekking Expedition -2023’ from June 7-14, 2023 at Palampur.
U/O Arpandeep Kaur was awarded with Director General NCC Commendation Card and Badge by Commanding Officer Col. NPS Toor 2PB(G) BN NCC Jalandhar for her outstanding contribution in NCC.
Five NCC Army Wing Cadets honoured by Sarv Sukh Sewa Mission and Voice of Justice Organisation on celebration of Lohri in collaboration with Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar on Jan 23, 2024.
2Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Jalandhar organized a ten days CATC camp at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar from Dec 28, 2023 to Jan 6, 2024. 360 cadets from 32 different institutions of Jalandhar, Kapurthala and surrounding areas, 7 ANOs, 16 JCOs/ NCOs attended the camp.
