               Cyanophyceae  (9),  Chlorophyceae  (7),  Trebouxiophyceae  (2),  Eustigmatophyceae  (1),
               Bacillariophyceae (1), and Klebsormidiophyceae (1).

               Genus: Klebsormidium
               Filaments long, uniseriate and unbranched, free floating. Cells basically cylindrical. Cell wall

               thin and smooth. Chloroplast single and parietal, laminate and girdle-shaped and extending

               the entire length of the cell. Pyrenoid single, embedded in center of chloroplast. Cells 4-5 µm
               in diameter, 11-11.5 µm long.
