Dear readers

I extend my felicitations to you all. It is a matter of great delight that Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar had organized an international e-conference on the relevant topic of

PLANT BIODIVERSITY AND ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION. Through this
conference, a number of leading academic scientists and research scholars gathered on a

common virtual platform to exchange and share their experiences and research results on
various aspects of Plant Biodiversity, Environment Conservation and all branches of Plant

Sciences. HMV has always been a leading institute of the DAV galaxy and this conference has

added yet another feather to its glorious cap. Sessions on different domains, key note addresses
from eminent professors and opportunity to network with the researchers will help the

participants immensely in their research career. I strongly believe that papers documented in
this E-book will stand as a great source of knowledge for researchers. With great pleasure and

pride, I once again extend my best wishes to the organizers of the conference, paper presenters,

authors, participants and readers.
