Dear readers
Welcome! I feel gratified in sharing that P.G Department of Botany, Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya Jalandhar, Punjab, in iollaboration with PUNJAB BIODIVERSITY BOARD
organized an e-International Conference on “Plant Biodiversity and Environment
Conservation” (ICPBEP-2021) on 20-21 May, 2021. This Conference aimed to bring together
leading academic scientists, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and
research results on all aspects of Plant Biodiversity, Environment Conservation and all
branches of Plant Sciences. It also provided a premier interdisciplinary platform for
researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations,
trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the
field of Plant Biodiversity and Environment Conservation.
A number of papers were received from all over the nation. The current e-book contains the
papers presented during the conference and I hope that the e-chapters help us in opening our
vistas to create a more sustainable world.
