Correlation
Phyto-sociological parameters of grass species such as density represent positive
correlation with frequency, abundance and IVI. Frequency manifests moderate positive
relationship with density; abundance expresses weak positive relationship with density and
density shows fairly strongly positive relationship with IVI (see table 3).
Table 3: Correlation between Different phyto-sociological Parameters of grass species in
southern area of Jabalpur district (MP)
Density Frequency Abundance IVI
Density 1

Abundance 0.47189 -0.12117 1

Ward Linkage Agglomeration Coefficients
We can review table 6 that Agglomeration coefficients were computed in which
these grass species have more dissimilarity between Sateria glauca, Sateria intermedia,
Sehima nervosum, Sorghum bicolor, Sorghum halepense, Sporobolus diandrus, Sporobolus
indicus and Themeda quadrivalvis (see table1and fig.1)

Agglomerative Hierarchical Cluster
This is the most common type of hierarchical clustering used to group objects in
clusters based on their similarity. It is also known as AGNES (Agglomerative Nesting). A
