10. Sarfraz, From January 2020 to April 2020 in India there was improvement in

                       Shehzad & air quality.
                       Shah (2020)

                 11. Shakil et al. On analysis of 57 studies for the month of May, 2020 it was

(2020) concluded that due to lockdown air pollution significantly reduced.
                 12. Dang & Trinh Studied air quality for 164 countries before and after the COVID-19

(2021) lockdowns and found that the global concentration of NO2 and
PM2.5 decreased by 5 percent and 4 percent due to lock downs.

                 13. Mor, et .al, During COVID-19 lockdown in Chandigarh there was significant

                       (2021) reductions in air pollutants.
                 14. Rahman et al. The lockdown policy implementation played a crucial role in

(2021) reducing air pollution in Bangladesh.
                 15. Sulaymon, et In Wuhan during the lockdown significant improvement in air

                       al. (2021) quality was found.

                 16. Tadano, et al. Air pollutant levels can effectively be controlled and predicted when
(2021) flexible lockdown measures are implemented.

Thus, COVID-19 pandemic can aid Earth in reviving and improving quality of air.

                3.2. Impact on Water
Life without water is impossible on Earth. But we are exploiting and polluting water to such a

level that it has made it difficult for many species of animals and plants to survive and thus
making them endangered and extinct. Many research studies have given an insight of the

effect of lockdowns on our water bodies.
Review of studies Comparing the Quality of Water during Pre COVID Era

The rate of water pollution has been rising at an alarming rate which has made other species

of plants and animals endangered and time is not far away when we could read about these
organisms in books only. Some recent studies during the Coronavirus pandemic have linked

COVID-19 with quality of water of different water resources.
